Pillai College of Engineering is the institute which got embedded with the inherent closed loop system and corrects itself through the feedback/surveys. This is the continuous process practiced almost since the inception of the institute. Over the years the process has been refined and it is online for the last 8-9 years. Students Satisfaction Survey (SSS) is one among these surveys. This survey includes the questionnaire recommended by NAAC. The survey aimed to assess various aspects such as academic experience, campus facilities, support services, and overall student life.

The survey is conducted by the Internal Quality Assessment Cell (IQAC) with support of Heads of all the departments. The Google form containing questionnaires prescribed by NAAC on different attributes of the teaching learning process was prepared and sent to all the students by their respective departments through mentors.

The responses obtained on these dimensions are compiled into a spreadsheet, analyzed and logical conclusions are drawn there from it. The SSS report is prepared by IQAC and shared with all the heads of the departments and Principal. The score of SSS for the academic year 2023-24 is 3.80 on the scale of 5.

The student satisfaction survey provided valuable insights into the areas of strengths and opportunities for improvement within the Institute. By acknowledging and acting upon the feedback received, the institution can strive to enhance the overall experience and satisfaction of all the stakeholders.
