Computer Society of India (CSI)

csi The Computer Society of India is an association for students pursuing the field of Information Technology. The CSI and PCE have successfully collaborated for many years to guide students on their chosen career paths.

The CSI seeks to facilitate research, knowledge sharing, learning and career enhancement for students of all varieties of IT fields, while simultaneously inspiring and nurturing new students through offering support and integration in the IT community.

Various workshops and seminars introducing students to new technology and professional IT opportunities take place on PCE campus via CSI among other reputed organizations. Exciting examples so far include Windows Phone 7 Application Development Program, Computer Assembly Program, .NET Workshop among others. www.csi-india.org

Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)

ieeeThe Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers is the inspiration of a global community striving to form a better tomorrow. The IEEE is the trusted voice of engineering, computing and technology information societies around the world who are connected via publications, conferences, professional and educational activities. PCE works directly with IEEE to provide students with a basic level of technical understanding as well as to stimulate a natural curiosity for their profession.

PCE institution is proud to be affiliated with the IEEE so that we may provide students an in depth theoretical knowledge to further develop an intuitive practical approach in the field of technology. www.ieee.org

Mechanical Engineering Students’ Association (MESA)

mesaThe Mechanical Engineering Student’s Association of PCE plays a vital role in our student’s development into becoming true engineers. Through various extracurricular activities, MESA aims to give its members an awareness and appreciation of Mechanical Engineering and its subsequent relevant fields. The Association seeks to be a platform which promotes student career interests both in mechanical engineering and all relevant fields.

Electronics and Telecommunication Students’ Association (ETSA)

etsaPCEs’ own Electronics and Telecommunication Department was established by a branch of the student body to allow students the opportunity to establish skills which are equally competitive with international applicants. ETSA was launched on 6th April, 2013 by Honourable Dr. S. N. Merchant in presence of Dr. R. I. K. Moorthy, Principal and Dr. Priam Pillai, COO, MES. Currently the second committee of the association is in place.

Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating & Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE)

ishraeSince it was founded in New Delhi 1981, the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers now has a membership of 8500 HVAC&R Professionals and 3000 students working in approximately 150 student and non-student chapters in India and overseas. The organization conducts seminars and workshops based on furthering the Arts and Sciences of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-conditioning and has published several technical guides and handbooks including the Developed Indian Weather Data files and accompanying Hourly Load Calculation Program.

ISHRAE is an official affiliate of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers. In coordination with PCE, ISHRAE organized various events such as workshops and seminars to develop students technical knowledge the skills required to apply it. www.ishrae.in

Society of Automotive Engineers India (SAEINDIA)

sae-indThe Society of Automotive Engineers India is nationally recognized as India’s leading resource on mobility technology. The ownership of SAEINDIA is composed of the industries leading professionals, executives from industry, academics and students.

SAEINDIA is an affiliate society of SAE International and is registered in India as an Indian non-profit engineering and scientific society dedicated to the advancement of the national mobility industry.

All efforts of the SAEINDIA corporation are entirely focused on propelling the automotive engineering profession by focusing on occurring trends in the industry which shall affect all automotive engineers and their relative societies. www.saeindia.org
